‘Wartime’ grenades, bullets found

Bogra: Police recovered six grenades, 24 rounds of bullet and 13 magazines at Bara Dhawakola village in Sadar upazila yesterday morning, reports UNB. Sanatan Chakrabarti, Additional Police Super of Bogra Sadar Circle, said labourers found the ammunition in a pot while digging earth for constructing a septic tank in the village around 9am. On information, police recovered the ammunition, he added.
The ammunition might have been kept during the Liberation War in 1971, he said.
