AL leader passes away

JOYPURHAT: Khalilur Rahman, president of Khetlal Upazila unit Awami League, died at Square Hospital in Dhaka yesterday, reports BSS. He was 62. Khalilur Rahman had been suffering from diabetes, liver problems and heart diseases for long. He left behind his wife, three sons, a daughter and a host of relatives and well-wishers to mourn his death. He will be buried at his family graveyard in the upazila town after Zohr prayers today. Earlier on Friday, Khalilur was admitted to the hospital for treatment. He was the former chairman of Barail union parishad under Khetlal upazila of the district.
