Reunion programme held
Daffodil International College Alumni Association organised its reunion programme on Friday in the capital, says a press release.
Chairman of the college and The Daffodil Family Md Sabur Khan was the chief guest while Vice-Chairman of the College and Executive Director of Daffodil Educational Network Mohammad Nurruzaman was the special guest at the programme.
The reunion programme was presided over by the College Principal Mohammad Zamshedur Rahman. The cultural programme was touched blissfully by the nostalgic moments among the alumnus, followed by a raffle draw as part of the special occasion.

Farewell ceremony for retired officers at RU
RAJSHAHI: A farewell ceremony for the retired officials was held at Rajshahi University (RU) yesterday.
RU Officers Association organised the programme at university Kazi Naazrul Islam auditorium at around 10am on the campus.
RU vice-chancellor Prof Dr Muhammad Mizanuddin was the chief guest while pro-vice chancellor Chawdhury Sarwar Jahan was the special guest and retired engineer Fazlul Haque addressed the programme. RU Officers Association president presided over the programme while its treasurer Moktadir Hossain and executive member Dr Md Shamim, among others, spoke in the programme. Organization’s Secretary AKM Nazrul Islam and joint secretary Jakirul Islam jointly conducted it.

JU BNCC holds freshers’ reception
SAVAR: Bangladesh National Cadet Core (BNCC) of Jahangirnagar University (JU) platoon organised a freshers’ reception and farewell programme at the seminar room of Zahir Rahihan auditorium on the campus on Saturday evening.
About at 7 pm, JU Vice-Chancellor Prof Farzana Islam inaugurated the progamme as the chief guest while the Professor Under Officer (PUO) of JU BNCC platoon ASM Firoz Ul Hasan was in the chair. Pro-Vice Chancellor Dr Abul Hossain, JU Registrar Abu Bakr Siddique, Treasurer Dr Abul Kahir and the Ramna Regiment Commander of BNCC Lieutenant Colonel SM Salauddin attended the progamme as special guest among others.
In this programme, JU BNCC platoon warmly received the newly 45th batch (1st year) cadets and gave farewell the cadets of 42nd (4th year).The programme ended through a captivating cultural events participated by the JU BNCC cadets.
