Jatiya Sangsad Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury yesterday said all the nations should work together to fight the effects of climate change while it is considered as global problem, reports BSS.
“The climate change is not a problem of a single state. This is a global problem and it has multi-dimensional forms which needed to be solved with involvement of all the nation states,” she said while addressing a two-day South Asian Speakers’ Summit entitled “Way to Achieve Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)” at Indore in India.
“Although the less developed countries are less liable for carbon and CFC emission, subjected to climate change, but these countries are being mostly affected by the adverse effect of the climate change", she added.
