Bangladesh aim to start on winning note

Bangladesh are expecting to make a winning start in the World Cup Roll Ball to kick off today at the Sheikh Russel Roll Ball court when 29 out of 40 countries have already arrived to take part in the competition.
Bangladesh, who first ever organising the mega event is ready to host and prepared to do a good result in the 4th edition of the World Cup Roll Ball.
Bangladesh Roller Skating Federation to make it a successful event built a new Roll Ball court adjacent to Bangabandhu National Stadium while the matches will be held in different venues in the city.
Bangladesh will begin their campaign at 3pm with taking on Hong Kong while captain Asif Iqbal is very much optimistic to begin the World Cup with winning note.
Asif when talking to the reporters yesterday said, Hopefully we will be able to make a winning start. In the last time we met Hong Kong in 2010 in the Asian Roll Ball championship and we won against them. Though the team is not same they were in 2010, but I believe that we have the ability to beat Hong Kong.
We are well prepared for the competition, we had our last practice session yesterday, we are all well and have no injury, said Asif.
Meanwhile, Latvia, the bronze winners of the third edition of the tournament in India, want to move up step by step while the captain Viesturs Cimermanis said that everything well and specially, the weather is excellent.
