Zia and six others share lead in chess

Grand Master Ziaur Raman along with six others were sharing the lead at the end of 4th round games of International Mother Language Day International Rating Chess Tournament  yesterday at Bangladesh Chess Federation hall room.

Apart from GM Zia of Sheikh Russel Memorial Sporting Club, FM Syed Mahfuzur Rahman of Janata Bank Officers Welfare Society, CM Sohel Chowdhury of Titas Club, Md. Siddiqur Rahman of Esoft Arena, Nayan Kumar Mohanto of Uttara Central Chess Club, Md. Abdul Momin of Sonali Bank  and Md. Jamal Uddin of Sheikh Russel Chess Club so far have earned full four points .
FM Mohamman Fahad Rahman of Access Chess Club, Shawkat Bin Osman Shaon of Hasan Memorial Chess Club and P J Bakul Barua of Fire Service were in  second position with 3.5 points each.
