Two new hostels renamed

The name of two hostels of Chittagong Govt Women’s College has been changed after the name of Mother Teresa and Principal (Capt) Rowshan Akter Hanif at function yesterday.

The old hostel has been named as “Mother TeresaWomen’s Hostel” and the new hostel has been named as “Principal (Capt.) Rowshan Akter Hanif Women’s Hostel”.
Professor Md Abul Hasan, principal of Chittagong Govt Women’s College inaugurated the  programme.
The function was addressed by Principal Md Abul Hasan as the chief guest while special guest Dr Mahmud Ahmed Arju, younger brother of Principal (Capt) Rowshan Akter Hanif, ex-Principal Prof Abu Taher Chowdhury, eminent journalist and columnist Shakawat Hossen Maznu, social worker Mrs Jesmin Akter Paru and Associate Professor Salma Rahman among others. The function was conducted by Associate Prof Dr Syeda Shahanara Begum, the Secretary of Teachers’ Council.
