Three people were killed and 15 others injured in a head-on collision between two buses on Dhaka-Khulna highway at Nauapara intersection in Madhukhali upazila of Faridpur yesterday, reports UNB. The identities of the deceased could not be known yet.Ruhul Amin, officer-in-charge of Madhukhali Police Station, said the accident took place at around 4:15pm when a ‘Sohagh Paribahan’ bus from Benapole collided with another ‘Royal Paribahan’ bus coming from the opposite direction, leaving a passenger dead on the spot and 17 others injured. The injured were taken to Madhukhali Upazila Health Complex where two succumbed to their injuries.
