Journo hurt in city road crash

A journalist was injured as a private car dashed his motorcycle in the capital’s Karwanbazar area yesterday afternoon, reports UNB.  The victim is Mamunur Rashid, a senior crime reporter of the Daily Observer. Mamunur said a black private car hit his bike near Karwanbazar underpass around 3:30pm while he was going to Dhaka Reporters Unity (DRU). The journalist fell onto the ground and lost his senses following the accident. Later, passersby rescued him and took him to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH). Meanwhile, the car managed to flee the scene.
