Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) will test Sunil Joshi before giving him the full time contract as the country’s spin consultant.
Akram Khan, the chairman of BCB Cricket Operations said Joshi will tour Sri Lanka with Bangladesh team and after watching his activities and the improvement of the spinners, the cricket board will appoint him.
“We have talked to Joshi. He has shown his interest and we are also positive about him. But before taking the long term decision, we want to oversee him,” Akram said at Hyderabad.
Joshi on last Friday talked to head coach Chandika Hathurusingha after which on Saturday he had meeting with Akram Khan.
