Bangladesh has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Jordan to import Rock Phosphate and Phosphoric Acid for producing standard Triple Superphosphate (TSP), reports BSS.
Bangladesh Chemical Industries Corporation (BCIC) Chairman and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Jordan Phosphate Mines Company signed the MoU on behalf of their respective sides at Amman in Jordan on February 10, said a press release here today.
Industries Minister Amir Hossain Amu and Commerce and Industries Minister of Jordan Engineer Yarub Qudah were present during the MoU signing
ceremony.
Under the MoU, every year Bangladesh will import 1.50 lakh metric ton rock Phosphate and 1.20 lakh metric ton Phosphoric Acid from Jordan.
