CHITTAGONG: Eight people were injured in a clash between two factions of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) at Chittagong University (CU) early yesterday, reports BSS.
Ali Ashraf Chowdhury, proctor of CU, said the clash ensued between the supporters of ‘Sixty Nine’ and ‘VX’ groups following an altercation over a trifling matter around 12:30am, leaving eight BCL men wounded.
Of the injured, four—Shamim, Turki Sarkar, Masum and Kawsar—were rushed to Chittagong Medical College Hospital.
