Riaz, Runa Khan pair up in tele-drama for first time

Audience-admired actor Riaz Ahmed and actress Runa Khan have paired up together for the first time for a tele-drama titled Ghor, directed by Hayat Mahmud and written by journalist MS Rana. DhakaLive has news that the shooting of the tele-drama began on July 14 in the capitals Sutrapur area. The shooting was scheduled to take place few days earlier, but due to Riaz suddenly falling ill, he was advised to rest by the doctor. After a few days of the much needed rest, he returned to the shooting.
Riaz said about working with Runa for the first time, Runa did an amazing job with the character that she portrayed. There is no doubt that she is an immensely talented actress. I am certain that the viewers will appreciate the tele-drama. I also worked under the direction of Hayat Mahmud earlier, and he is much organised in his work.
Runa shared her thoughts, Even though this is for the first time I am working with Riaz, he has been so cooperative that I was able to do the work with ease. He is a wonderful person and can make friends in a very short time. This is actually a quality of Riaz that many do not possess. I am very excited about this work.
According to the director, Ghor will be aired on Boishakhi TV during Eid.
Moreover, Riaz will be busy during Eid with quite a few tele-dramas. He also started working in the drama serial by Sarah Begum Kobori titled Abar Ashibo Phire, where he is starring opposite Ahona.
On the other hand, Runa Khan is very hopeful about one of her telefilms Debduth produced on the occasion of Eid, directed by Mahfuz Ahmed. She will be appearing in various Eid special tele-dramas and among them Korban Alir Bank Balance by Tuhin Hussain, Bhranti Bilash by Amirul Islam are most notable.
