National Communication Development (NCD) organised an Eid fashion fair titled ‘Boutique and Jewellery Fair 2015’ from July 11 to 13 at Raowa Club, Mohakhali in the capital.
A total of 32 stalls, including Pakistani and Indian boutique houses, were set up at the fair. Ankita Fashion, Saaj Beauty Shop, Apsara Boutique, Star Enterprise, Khan Shah, Mustajab are some of those.
Mostly boutique, lawn, jewellery, cosmetics, handicraft including salwar kameez, party wear, Pakistani wear, saris, fashion accessories, foot wear, jute products, household products, show pieces, T-Shirts were available there.
Co-partner of National Communication Development (NCD), AKM Alamgir Hossain said, “There are many people who are doing boutique and jewellery business through online. It’s a platform for those people who are doing online business for them to reach new customers. We tried to get together some of them at a place ahead of the Eid festival. We are getting positive response. Many people are coming, where most of them are within 16 to 30 aged people.” n
