Solo art show ‘The Naked’ begins today

A weeklong solo painting exhibition titled ‘The Naked’ by Tilottama Bhowmick will begin today at the La Galerie of Alliance Française de Dhaka (AFD) in the capital’s Dhanmondi area. Art critic Moinuddin Khaled, artist Ranjit Das and architect and art critic Shamsul Wares will attend the opening ceremony as the special guests today at 5pm. A number of 35 painting works of Tilottama Bhowmick will be showcased at the exhibition. The exhibition will remain open to all, until February 18 and can be visited according to the following schedule— Monday to Thursday from 3 pm to 9 pm, Friday and Saturday (9 am to 12 noon and 5 pm to 8 pm; closed on Sunday.
