Finance minister gives Eid gifts to poor people

SYLHET: Eid gifts, including new dresses and clothes, have been distributed among poor people in the city on behalf of Finance Minister Abul Mal Abdul Muhith yesterday, reports BSS.
Awami Olama League distributed clothes for Eid among the poor workers of Sylhet district Awami League.
Earlier on Thursday, the Finance Minister handed over Eid clothes to the leaders of Sylhet city Awami League for distribution among the deserving people.
Sylhet District Awami League president and administrator of District Council Abdus Zahir Chowdhury Sufian distributed clothes at Sagardighirpar area in the city yesterday. Sylhet District Olama League president Moulana Salahuddin Ekram, general secretary Moulana Ataur Rahman Shikdar and deputy publicity secretary Mostaque Ahmed Polash were present, among others.
Speaking at the function Zahir Sufian said, Along with all, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has transformed Bangladesh into a middle income state.
The Education Minister has taken various steps for modernisation and development of madrasah education system.
