Former Abahani president Muhith passes away

AKM Muhit Uddin Ahmed, former president of Abahani Krira Chakra, died of cardiac arrest at 9 pm on Tuesday at United  Hospital in the capital. He was 67. He was the president of the club in 1988.
He left behind one son, two daughters and a number of grandchildren to mourn his death.
His namaj-e-janaja was held at 11.30 am yesterday on the Abahani club premises. Information Minister  Hasanul Haque Inu, Chief Whip ASM Feroz, Shirin Akhtar, MP, directors of Abahani Limited, former and present officials and players of different disciplines and sports fans attended the namaj-e-janaja.  
Later he was buried at his Noakhali village home.
