Oindrila’s birthday today

Today is the birthday of lustrous model-actress Oindrila, the youngest daughter of late noted film actor Bulbul Ahmed. There will be no celebration on her birthday today; rather, she will spend the day in an ordinary manner like the other days of the year. However, she will attend a family programme tonight. But Oindrila’s close friends will celebrate her birthday on February 10, where popular actress-dance artiste Nadia Ahmed will be present.
Oindrila said about her birthday, “Truly speaking, these days there is no chance to enjoy the birthday like my childhood days. I have to remain busy constantly with my family and children. But I feel wonderful when someone wishes me remembering my birthday. I miss my father a lot on this special day of my life. Because, my father had always tried to make my every birthday special. I will miss him today as well. I seek prayers from everyone that may Allah grant my father Jannah.” Oindrila, who has acted in about 100 TV plays, appeared in a tele-drama in 2005 for the last time. She made her debut in the TV play with Barkatullah-produced ‘Dola’ in her childhood. But as a grown-up person, she acted in a tele-drama titled ‘Suva’ under the direction of his father. As a model, she worked in 16 television commercials (TVC) in her career. She first modelled in the TVC of Sun Crest under the direction of Afzal Hossain. She worked as the first local model for the TVC of Fair & Lovely.  Moreover, besides lending her vocal to the title songs of several tele-dramas, she also did jingle for a few TVCs.
