Quamruzzaman’s wife laid to rest

Rajshahi: Jahanara Zaman, wife of national leader AHM Quamruzzaman, was laid to eternal rest in the city yesterday, reports UNB.
She was buried at the family graveyard at Kadirganj in the city around 3 pm following a namaz-e-janaza at Hazrat Shah Makhdum Central Eidgah Maidan after Zohr prayers.
State Minister for Foreign Affairs Shahriar Alam, MP of Rajshahi-1 constituency Omar Faruk Chowdhury, MP Fazle Hossain Badshah, Zila Parishad Chairman Mohammad Ali Sarkar, leaders and activists of local unit Awami League were present at the janaza.
