Tariq Anam publishes ‘Natok Somogro’ this book fair

Seasoned actor-director Tariq Anam Khan has come up with a new book titled ‘Natok Somogro’at this year’s Amar Ekushey Book Fair. The book is a compilation of the thespian’s works spanning over 25 years. According to Tareq Anam Khan, “The book consists of ten theatrical plays translated and adapted from important literary works. This is my second publication. The book would be helpful for them, who want to work on plays.”
“My first book was ‘Konjush’ (The Miser), which was published in 1985.  Then, I wrote for theatrical plays and also for TV plays regularly, but have not been published in book form”, he added. Published by Charulipi Prokashani, the book is likely to be available at the fair from today.
To note, born on May 10, 1953, Tariq Anam Khan is an award winning Bangladeshi actor, director, writer and producer in theatre, television, and film. He is a prominent personality in theatre, television, and film and is considered one of the legendary and powerful actors in Bangladesh today. He is more known for his roles in films ‘The Last Thakur’ and ‘Ghetuputra Kamola’. He was awarded the Bangladesh National Film Award for Best Actor in negative role for the film ‘Desha: The Leader’ in 2014.
