Youth hacked to death in Munshiganj

Munshiganj: A young man was hacked to death at Uttar Radhikha in Srinagar upazila on Sunday, reports UNB. The deceased was identified as Merin Khan, 26, son of Tofazzal Khan of the area. He used to work as a salesman at a clothes store.   Locals found Merin groaning in a Baganbari of the area around 7:30pm and rescued him. He, however, died on the way to hospital.They also said the youth was spotted at a nearby bazaar just half an hour before the murder. Additional Police Super (Srinagar circle) Md Saiful Islam said Merin, who was a drug addict, was released from jail few days ago. “We're investigating the incident,” he said.
