SYLHET: A Speedy Trial Tribunal here yesterday again deferred until July 23 the charge framing of Shah AMS Kibria murder case, reports BSS.
Judge Makbul Hossain passed the order in presence of five accused persons, including former Habiganj municipality mayor GK Gaus, court sources said.
Other three major accused former state minister for home affairs Lutfuzzaman Babar, sacked mayor of Sylhet City Corporation Arifiul Haque Chowdhury and Harkatul Jihad's Mufti Abdul Hannan were not placed before the court.
Former finance minister Shah AMS Kibria and four others were killed and many injured in grenade attacks on a rally of Awami League at Baidderbazar in Habiganj on January 27, 2005.
On July 6 last, the Sylhet Speedy Trial Tribunal deferred the charge framing of the case until July 14.
