Temperatures rising gradually

The barometer has started climbing up gradually indicating that the winter is finally drawing its curtain this year.
The temperature rose by up to two degrees Celsius across the country in one day yesterday, Met Office sources said, adding it is likely to become warm in the next five days with the spring air knocking at the door.
Already the Cuckoos have started singing the songs of spring. Some mango trees have also started blossoming as the air warms up.
The maximum temperature in Dhaka was recorded yesterday at 31 degrees Celsius while the minimum temperature at 16.6 degrees Celsius.
The lowest temperature, however, was recoded as usual in the sub-Himalayan Tentulia of Panchagarh district where the maximum temperature was 29 degrees.
Shrouds of mist covered the sun yesterday in early afternoon and there was presence of clouds in the sky. The fog and mist may remain today, the met sources said.
