5 labourers hurt falling off building in capital

Five labourers were injured after falling off the first floor of an under construction building in the capital’s Siddheshwari area early Wednesday, reports BSS.
The injured are Shahadat, 20, Almas, 20, Jahidul, 20, Jakir, 21 and Bishal, 25.
Injured Shahadat was admitted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital while four others were given first aid.
Sources at the DMCH said shuttering of a building’s roof in the area opposite Viquarunnisa Noon School and College collapsed while labourers were working there at about 5:30am, leaving five of them injured.
