NATORE: State Minister for Information and Communication Technology Zunaid Ahmed Palak yesterday said there is no alternative to education to make the young generation efficient in information technology, reports BSS.
“The young generation should be efficient in information technology to build a digital Bangladesh,” he said while addressing an assembly of students at Jormallika Nightingale High School in Singra upazila.
The state minister said Bangladesh is attaining rapid economic development under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
Information technology will be the main driving force in this development, he said, adding that the students need to be involved in this trend of development based on information technology.
Palak advised the students to know the history of the Liberation War and said narcotics and militancy must be eliminated being inspired with the spirit of the Liberation War.
Earlier, the students took oath against narcotics and militancy.Singra Municipality Mayor M Jannatul Ferdous, Upazila Nirbahi Officer Sadequr Rahman and school headmaster Jainal Abedin were present on the occasion.
