Practice match against India A

Pacer Abu Jayed joined Bangladesh squad to play the two-day practice match against India A, which starts today at Hyderabad. 

Jayed will play only the practice match as he won’t be the part of the original squad, said an official of BCB.
The practice match will be a good chance for the Bangladesh players to judge their condition ahead of the Test match.
Condition and injuries were blamed for their recent failure in New Zealand but what made the team management relieved this time is that they cannot at least make the similar excuses here. The condition of Hyderabad is quite similar to that of Bangladesh and the duration of the series is also very short.
However pacer Jayed has been in good form since the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL). After hogging the limelight with a good performance in BPL, the Dhaka Dynamites player Jayed kept it up in the National Cricket League (NCL) and Bangladesh Cricket League (BCL), giving the team management a good option in pace bowling department. The Bangladesh will play their first ever Test match at Indian soil on February 9, taking on the Virat Kohli-led India team at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium.
