Nihad Kabir takes over as Build chairman

Nihad Kabir, president of Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, has  taken over as the Chairman of the Trustee Board of Business Initiative Leading Develop-ment (BUILD) for the year 2017. Nihad Kabir succeeds Syed Nasim Manzur who served BUILD as Chairman in 2016, says a press release.

BUILD is a public private dialogue platform sponsored by Dhaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Chittagong Chamber of Commerce and Industry providing secretarial support to the Private Sector Development Policy Co-ordination Committee at the Prime Minister's Office (PMO).
Nihad Kabir is an Advocate of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh and a Director and shareholder of Kedarpur Tea Co Ltd.  She is a director of Brac Bank, Infrastructure Develop-ment Company, Palli Karma-Sahayak Foundation, bKash, and independent director of Square Pharmaceuticals and Apex Footwear. She is also the Chairperson of Brac-EPL Investments and Brac-EPL Stock Brokerage.
