Grameenphone Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Petter Furberg yesterday said the private mobile phone operator earned Tk 114.9 billion revenue in 2016, some 9.6 per cent more than the previous year, reports UNB.
GP Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Petter Furberg came up with the information at a city hotel in the evening.
Grameenphone ended the year with 58.0 million active subscribers.
The mobile phone operator also acquired 8.8 million internet users during the period.
With this, 42.3 per cent of total subscribers are using Grameenphone internet services, Petter added.
