Cricketer Suny sued for ‘women repression’

Another case was filed against national cricketer Arafat Sunny and his mother Nargis Akter under the Women and Children Repression Prevention Act by a woman who claims to be his wife, reports UNB.
The woman, Nasrin Sultana, filed the case with the court of Dhaka Women Children Repression Prevention Tribunal Court-4.
After recoding Nasrin's statement, Judge SM Rezanur Rahman of the tribunal asked the officer-in-charge of Mohammadpur Police Station to submit a report on it after an investigation.
According to the statement, Sunny's mother Nargis Akter along with some men beat Nasrin up on a road near Mohammadpur Police station.
