Dot bangla domain registration opens

Subscribtion of dot (.) bangla domain will be open for private organisation and individual from today.  

State-owned Bangladesh Telecommunications Company Limited (BTCL), the assigned organisation to handle the domain, will sell the domain on the basis of first come first serve. Any company or individual who subscribes to dot bd domain will also be allowed to subscribe to dot bangla domain.
BTCL Director, Public Relations and Publications, Mir Md Morshed said anyone would be able to register for the domain through Teletalk by depositing full registration fee of TK 500 for one year, but the first time subscribers have to register for at least two years. According to the BTCL, total registered users of .bd clocks at 36,500. 
The much-awaited dot bangla domain unlocked for the people on December 31, 2016.
