Man to die for killing

KHULNA: A court yesterday sentenced a private clinic ward boy to death for killing the hospital owner, Dr Gauranga Chandra Das, in the city in 2013, reports UNB.
The condemned convict was identified as Russell Dhali, son of M Iktar Dhali of Ghosgati village in Dighalia upazila of the district.
According to the prosecution, Russell chopped Dr Gauranga, owner of 'Maitri Nursing Home' under Khan Jahan Ali Police Station in the city, to death on November 17, 2013 as the physician forbad him to indulge in love affairs with a clinic nurse.
Victim's wife Mita Rani Bhoumik filed a case against Russell with Khan Jahan Ali Police Station on the day. 
On May 17, 2015, sub-inspector of the police station Imran Hossain submitted a charge-sheet against Russell to a court.
After examining the witnesses and documents, Judge of Khulna Additional Metropolitan Session Judge's Court Dilruba Sultana handed down the verdict.
