Minor child drowns

NATORE: One minor child drowned in a pond in Alaipur area under Natore Sadar upazila of the district on Sunday, reports BSS.
Local sources said, the victims was identified as Rifat, 1, son of Siddiq Khan, resident of Alaipur area in the Natore town.
The child fell into the adjacent pond of the deceased house when his family members were busy in their household work.
Later, locals recovered the body from the pond and sent to Natore Sadar Hospital at around 3.30pm where on duty doctors declared him dead.
