Schoolgirl raped in capital

A schoolgirl of Ten Grade was allegedly raped by her boy friend yesterday in the capitals Mirpur area.
Quoting the family members of the victim, police said, Prince (24), who was a boy friend of the victim brought the schoolgirl to a flat of Mirpur yesterday morning and allegedly raped her.
When the girl became serious ill after the incident, the accused brought her to a local clinic in Kalayanpur area in a critical condition.
Brother of the victim said Getting phone call from the clinic, we rescued her and brought to the One Stop Crisis Centre (OCC) of the Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
Replying to a question, he said, she left the house for school. The victim is now undergoing treatment at the gynaecology department of Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH), said Sub-Inspector Bachchu Mia, in-charge of DMCH police outpost.
Dr Bilkis Begum, coordinator of the OCC of the DMCH said after getting the medical report, we shall know whether she was raped or not. She further said the condition of the victim is very critical.
Police claimed that the victim developed a love affair with the boy after introducing in the social networking site Facebook recently.
Inspector Mahbub Bhuiya, officer in charge of Mirpur Model Thana said We are conducting the raid in the area after came to know about details of the accused person.
He, however, denied disclosing in details about the alleged rapist.
