Liton’s killers to be brought to book: Quader

Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader yesterday said the killers of MP Manjurul Islam Liton must be brought to justice, reports UNB. “The Prime Minister has ordered for hunting down the killers and handing them over to police. The killers of Liton will have to pay a heavy price,” he said while addressing as the chief guest a citizens’ mourning rally at DWD College ground in Sundarganj upazila of Gaibandha. Quader, also Road Transport and Bridges Minister, said those who are trying to protect the killers will not succeed in their evil move. Awami League will nominate a qualified person to contest the by-polls from Gaibandha-1 constituency, he added.
