Matir Projar Deshe in Cinequest Film Festival

Matir Projar Deshe (Kingdom of Clay Subjects), a feature film from Bangladesh directed by Bijon Imtiaz, is participating at the Cinequest Film Festival in the United States of America. The film is contesting in the Global Landscape Feature Film category of the festival.
The 27th edition of the festival began yesterday in San Jose, California, USA and will be continued till March 12. Matir Projar Deshe will have four screenings during the festival.
Popular actors Jayanta Chattopadhyay, Rokeya Prachi, Mahmudur Aninda, Sheuli Aktar, Monir Ahmed Shakil and Chinmoyi Gupta acted in the film.
Matir Projar Deshe saw its world premiere at the Seattle International Film Festival last year. To note, Cinequest Film Festival is an annual independent film festival held in San Jose, California. As one of the top discovery film festivals, this annual event highlights the work of new and existing filmmakers and the film technologies that effect film making, exhibition and distribution.
