BASIS SoftExpo, the biggest exhibition in country's information technology industries, will begin at Bangabandhu International Conference Center (BICC) here on February 1, says a press release.
Jatiya Sangsad Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury is expected to inaugurate the four-day show. Planning Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal and State Minister for ICT Zunaid Ahmed Palak will grace the inaugural function as special guests, among others.
Bangladesh Association of Software and Information Services (BASIS) is organising the show for eleventh time, with this year's slogan "Future in Motion".
BASIS, the national trade body for Software and IT Enabled Service industry of Bangladesh, held a press briefing at its office yesterday marking the exhibition.
Chaired by BASIS president Mustafa Jabbar, the briefing was addressed by its senior vice-president Russell T Ahmed, vice-president M Rashidul Hasan,
BASIS director and convener of this year's exhibition Syed Almas Kabir, among others.
