Training for addiction professionals

Dhaka Ahsania Mission (DAM) has organised a seven-day training for the addiction professionals, including doctors, counselors, managers and other staff from the country's different drug treatment and rehabilitation centres, reports UNB.
The inaugural session of the training was held at Ahsania Mission Conference room in the capital's Dhanmondi area yesterday.
The training is highlighting two curricula; 'Physiology and Pharmacology for Addiction Professionals' and 'Treatment for Substance Use Disorders;The Continuum of Care for Addiction Professionals.
Director (Treatment and Rehabilitation) of Department of Narcotics Control (DNC) Mofidul Islam was present as the chief guest. DAM Executive Director Dr M Ehsanur Rahman presided over the inaugural session.
