Bappys painting show begins at AFD tomorrow

A solo painting exhibition titled An Eternal Journey by artist Nazmul Haque Bappy will begin tomorrow in La Galerie of Alliance Franaise de Dhaka in the capitals Dhanmondi area.
The Inaugural ceremony of the exhibition will be held tomorrow at 5pm. Famous painter and puppeteer Mustafa Monowar will be present as the chief guest on the occasion. Actor, director and writer Mamunur Rashid and Professor Nasreen Begum, Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Dhaka are expected to be present at the event as the special guests. Bruno Plasse, Director of Alliance Franaise de Dhaka will welcome the guests and also preside over the session.
Around 30 paintings will be put on display in the snow white walls of La Galerie during the 9-day exhibition.
After the inaugural ceremony, the exhibition will remain open to all till February 4 at La Galerie, AFD and can be visited according to the following scheduleMonday to Thursday from 3pm to 9pm, Friday and Saturday (9am to12pm and 5pm to 8pm).
Closed -Sunday.
