EC Distribution Limited, a subsidiary of East Coast Group, has introduced 3M brand window films at a seminar held in the capital yesterday. The seminar emphasised on the necessity of safety, security and sustainability of glass build infrastructures in Bangladesh, says a press release.
Masudur Rahim, chief executive officer, East Coast Group, was present on the occasion welcomed the guests at the seminar. Yusof B Kassim, energy specialist, Renewable Energy Division of 3M was the lead speaker of the seminar. Jirawan Teeramungcalanon, division manager, Renewable Energy Division introduced 3M to the audiences.
East Coast introduced 3 types of films at the seminar. These are safety and security film, sun control (Solar) film and automotive film. These films are recommended by Skin Cancer Foundation and Energy Star.
Safety and security film provides shatter resistance to protect from broken glass hazards, bomb blast impact mitigation, strong adhesion to glass and shock absorbing properties, scratch resistance, enhanced durability and UV protection.
Sun control (solar) film reduce excessive heat in warmer months, reduce air conditioning costs, reduces glare and eye discomfort, extend the life and vibrancy of the fabric of furniture and carpets, reduces injury risk from flying glasses and reduces fading of interior furnishings.
Auto film blocks up to 99 per cent of UV light, resist excessive heat, increases privacy, enhance personal and property protection, reduces glare significantly and won’t interfere with mobile phone GPS reception.
