Three ‘robbers’ held in Jessore

Benapole: Police arrested three alleged robbers from Joharpur Bazar area in Bagharpara upazila of Jessore district early yesterday, reports UNB.
The arrestees were identified as Manirul Islam, 25, son of Surman Molla of Betalpara village, Jewel Shikder, 25, son of Shawkat Ali of Joharpur village in Bagharpara upazila, and Moslem Ali Sheikh, 55, son of late Tarachand Sheikh of Bakchara village in Satkhira district. 
Sub-inspector of Bagharpara Police Station Samedul Haque said acting on a tip-off, a team of police conducted a drive in the area and arrested the trio while they were preparing for committing robbery around 3.15am.Police also recovered one one-shooter gun, one pipe gun and two rounds of bullets from their possession.
