Artistes unveil cover of Shazu’s novel

National Film Award-winning actor Chanchal Chowdhury unveiled the cover of a novel, titled ‘Mone Rekho Sondhyatara Amio Bhalobesechilam’ by journalist-author Shah Alam Shazu, at The Daily Star Centre in the capital on Sunday. Among others, audience-admired playwright Brindaban Das, actress Shahnaz Khushi and noted Rabindra Sangeet artiste Sadia Afrin Mallik were present during the unveiling event. Moderated by Fahmim Ferdous, publisher of Ananya Publication Monirul Haque delivered welcome speech at the programme.
Chanchal Chowdhury said about unveiling the cover of Shazu’s book, “I attended many programmes in my life, but this is for the first time that I have unveiled the cover of a book. It was an amazing experience.”
Brindaban Das said, “I expect that Shazu will come up with many everlasting works as a writer one day”.
Shazu expressed his feelings on the occasion of publishing his new book, “Alongside my profession of a journalist, writing means everything to me. Apart from writing, I have no dream.”
To note, Dhruba Esh has designed the cover of ‘Mone Rekho Sondhyatara Amio Bhalobesechilam’ and the novel, which is the 25th novel by Shazu, will be available at the stall of Ananya Publication in the upcoming Amar Ekushey Book Fair.
