Shops gutted in Madaripur

MADARIPUR: At least 10 shops were gutted as a fire broke out at Mustafapur Bazar in Sadar upazila yesterday morning, reports BSS.Fire brigade sources said the fire originated from an electric short circuit in a shop and soon engulfed the adjacent shops.Being informed, two fire fighting units rushed to the spot and extinguished the blaze after two hours of frantic effort.
