UP member hacked dead in Narsingdi

A union parishad member was hacked to death by miscreants at Tulatuli village in Raipura upazila of Narsingdi yesterday, reports UNB.
The victim was identified as Mujibur Rahman, 40, member from ward-9 of Ulipura union parishad and son of late Sultan Miah of the village.
Officer-in-charge of Raipura Police Station Azharul Islam said a group of 5-6 miscreants astride two motorcycles intercepted Mujibur in front of his house around 6:30pm as soon as he came out of it to go somewhere.
