Massive win for Faridpur

Faridpur DSA aided by a brilliant marksmanship by Sajal trounced Khulna DSA 10-1 in the Agrani Bank 26th National Youth Hockey Championship at the Mauluna Bhashani Hockey Stadium in the capital yesterday. The winners led the first half 4-0.

Hasan sent Fraidpur into early lead slamming home in the  4th minute.  Arafat doubled the lead in the 18th minute. Then Sajal added three goals in the 20th, 52nd and 54th minute. Aleef inscribed his name in the score sheet scoring the 8th and 5th goal.  Chandra Roy completed the tally in the 69th minute.  Al-Islam produced the lone goal for  Khulna.  
Dhaka Education Board also posted a massive 7-0 win over Naogaon DSA I the day’s first match. Zahid spearheaded Dhaka Education Board victory  scoring four goals within first 18 minutes of play.  Jamshed Dewan netted twice, while the other goal came from Cacique Rahman’s stick.
Chuadanga DSA also romped home with a big 6-0 win against  Feni DSA. The winners netted three goals in each half.  Baizid  Hossain alone scored half of the total goals.  Akash, who opened the account in the 4th minute, added another goal in  40th minute. Sabbir slammed home the other goal for Chuadanga.
