RHD constructs seven bridges in Gaibandha

GAIBANDHA: Roads and Highways Department (RHD) has constructed seven bridges over different rives and water bodies of the district in the last eight years, reports BSS.
RHD sources said, under the development projects, a total of seven bridges were constructed at a cost of Tk. 75.21 crore during the period.
The projects included the construction of 260.76-meter Melandaha Bridge over the Bangali river, 253-meter Baradaha Bridge over the Karotoa river, 40.36-meter Khulshi Bridge over a tributary of the Karotoa river, 74.72-meter Ullah-Sonatoal Bridge over the Bangali river, 99.10-meter Ghagot Bridge over the Ghagot river, 40.30-meter Sakoa Bridge over the Sakoa canal, and 34.40-meter Sarkertari Bridge over the Sarkertari canal.Besides, 8.85-kilometer highway from Gaibandha to Ghoraghat and 10.29-km highway from Gaibandha to Sadullapur were constructed at a cost of Tk. 4.49 crore.
