An anti-drug campaign was held at Balugram Adarsha College in Chapainawabganj Sadar upazila on Tuesday, reports BSS.
As part of the programme, Balugram Adarsha College arranged an opinion sharing meeting of guardians of students at Principal Belal Uddin auditorium on the campus.
The campaign was aimed at creating awareness among the people about adverse impact of drug addiction.
Principal of the college Mohammad Matiur Rahman chaired the meeting. It was addressed, among others, by Vice Principal NSM Mahbubur Rahman, guardians Mohammad Aminul Islam and Md. Hasan Ali and teachers AKM Rezaul Karim, Mokhleshur Rahman, Azad Ali and Rokeya Khatun.
The speakers urged the guardians to come forward to save the young generation from the clutches of drug addiction.
