Youth found dead in hotel

Sirajganj: Police recovered the body of a young man from a hotel at Hatikumrul intersection under Salanga Police Station on Tuesday evening, reports UNB.
The deceased was identified as Iqbal Hossain, 30, son of Sona Ullah, a resident of Shahidganj in Sirajganj municipality.
Officer-in-charge of Salanga Police Station Abdur Rafiq said Iqbal rented a room at ‘Hotel Seven Star’ at Hatikumrul intersection on Monday night.
As the hotel authorities didn’t find any response from Iqbal’s room on Tuesday, they entered the room breaking open the door and found the body of the young man lying on the bed.
On information, police rushed to the spot and sent the body to Sirajganj General Hospital morgue for autopsy.
