Former Chief Justice M M Ruhul Amin died of heart diseases at a hospital in Singapore early Tuesday, reports BSS. He was 74. Additional Registrar of the High Court Division, Sabbir Foyez, said the former chief justice had been suffering from heart diseases and underwent treatment at a hospital Singapore after a surgery. M M Ruhul Amin breathed his last early in the morning. Ruhul Amin was appointed as the Chief Justice on June 1, 2008. He has been serving as the chairman of Bangladesh Judicial Service Commission since 2004. Born in Laxmipur on Dec 23, 1942, Ruhul Amin earned a masters degree in history in 1963 and completed LLB in 1966 from Dhaka University. He joined the judicial service in 1967.
