One killed in road accident

NATORE: A rickshaw-van puller was killed as a truck hit his van in Moukhara area on the Ahammadpur-Gurudaspur road under Baraigram upazila of the district yesterday morning, reports BSS.
The deceased was Sahadat Hossain, 15, son of Sahinur Rahman, a resident of Kalakantonagar village under Gurudaspur upazila of the district.
Police said the accident occurred when a speedy truck hit the fruit-laden van in the area at about 9 am, leaving the van puller dead on the spot.
