Bangladesh Army has deployed a 850 members strong new infantry contingent on UN mission in south Sudan (UNMISS) arriving there through the first flight on January 13.
As per the UN headquarters decision the advance group of the contingent begun their deployment through the flight.
They became part of the UNMISS deployed in South Sudan since 2011 who have been discharging their duties with much efficiency and prestige, said an inter services public relations (ISPR) release in Dhaka yesterday.
